The faceted pedestal bases feature a hand-applied checkerboard pattern utilizing a terracotta stain to complement the natural oak. The timbers have a rough sawn skip-planed surface—meaning no two boards are the same. The inspiration for this checkered dining table comes from highlighting the craftsmanship of the saw marks and the hand-applied finish.
